Woodcraft Stand Setup on My Ducati V4: Don’t Miss This Step
Front and rear stand setup, the retaining-pin step I missed, and the correction before lifting the Ducati.
By Mark Taylor, Radical Rides TV. Updated October 4, 2026.
Woodcraft motorcycle stands are out of the box and onto my Ducati Panigale V4. I work through front and rear stand setup, height and width adjustments, and the retaining-pin step I initially missed before correcting it and lifting the bike.

Good engineering. Occasionally questionable operator. This follow-up shows the small details I appreciate: front support retaining rings, rear height-adjustment pins, axle holders and enough wheel clearance to make garage jobs easier. I leave my mistake and the correction in, because that is the useful bit.
This is my setup experience on my own bike. Follow Woodcraft’s instructions and confirm the correct stand, contact points and clearances for yours. The front under-fork stand does not support the motorcycle with the forks removed.
